New York: Friday (Part 1)

My cousin got married in New York city over the weekend and Charlotte and I were so lucky to get a weekend together. Char's mom and my grandmother came to our house to watch the kids and we are very thankful. We took the train up to NY from DC. It was our first trip on a train in the US and it was pretty cool. The first day we just walked around seeing some different buildings and sites that are either famous or from movies. We spent some time around Rockefeller Center and later in the afternoon we did the NBC Studios tour. The tour was really cool and we saw Jimmy Fallon's stage and got the history and the tricks they use when filming. We also saw the SNL set and Emma Stone was rehearsing on one of the side stages while we were there.

Once we got there, we dropped the bags at the hotel. If any of you are
familiar with NY, this is connected to the Beacon Theater (which
is the red sign in the background).

We just did some walking and sightseeing on Friday, since
it was a half day for us. Char has been to N Y several times with her
Grandmother and they usually stayed here, the Waldorf Astoria.

Char having thoughts of upgrade.

Trump doesn't know what he's missing.

After our day one adventures, all of the family had shown up
from all their different points of origin.
We all got together for a NY pizza dinner.

To be continued...
