Our Family

We are half way there. The baby is the size of a banana - click for more info. I am feeling pretty good. I had an easy pregnancy with Evey; only several times with loss of stomach contents and ankle swelling towards the end. No stomach contents loss this time and I just ate my way through the nausea. Belly is growing much faster this time and thus the bottom is as well to compensate. James has been nesting since we found out...mr projects. He is currently redoing the basement. I am nesting but not like crazy or anything. Evey's room is done finally (will post pictures soon). So now onto helping in the basement then the baby's room.

We celebrated Evangeline's 2nd birthday this weekend with family and friends. Grammy (Char's mom) and Grandbob (James's dad) were in town to celebrate. Friday, her actual birthday, we just hung out.


Saturday, we had a luau themed grill out. We actually had a rather large turn out. It was a really fun evening. We had burger, dogs, cake and ice cream. We played yard games, limbo and had a bounce house (borrowed from neighbor).

We made the 9 hour drive to Michigan. Evey did well. We all had a wonderful time as usual with the Michigan family. Evey had some firsts as well. First time for fireworks which she loved and is still talking about them. She also played in the beach sand and really like it.
