Last weekend Evey, Austin and I drove out to pick strawberries. We were getting out of the house so that daddy could heal from surgery. It was awesome. Weather was perfect. The berries were so delicious. It was like Easter egg hunting but adults can do it too. These pictures aren't very good cause I was holding Austin in the sling, trying to take pictures with my phone and keep Austin from sucking on the berries. Oh yes, he tried and did suck on a berry.

The best ones are hidden in the plant so you have to search for them.

Notice strawberry juice all over her shirt, hands face. They were so good.

I had a great Mother's Day. Everyone crawled in bed to snuggle, a card with Evey's voice recorded saying, "Happy Mother's Day, I love you Mommy" precious. We went to church. Evey, Mommy and Austin got a nap. Then we picked up Uncle Julios for dinner. Yes, the Lord heard my heart missing home and he sent us a bit of Texas. We have a Uncle Julios restaurant 15 minutes from the house. It was a great day.
Special wish to all my wonderful mommy friends.

We took the opportunity of Cinco de Mayo to have dinner with some friends that James went to class with. It was pretty fun, but the restaurant was packed like crazy. Evey took the opportunity to wear this cute Mexican dress we got from Greenley.

Austin is 5 months today. He is doing wonderful. He is so sweet and easy going. He has found his thumb. He loves to suck, that is definately what soothes him. He has very sensitive skin. He is getting stronger and stronger everyday. We are working on sitting up. He moves around in his crib a lot at night. Yikes. He enjoys everything really: sitting in the bumpo, laying on a blanket outside, tummy time, exploring his toys. Oh and he is so ticklish. When we change him or clean under his chin, he just giggles and giggles, so so cute.
Didn't do a very good job of pictures these are all from Florida

Just thought it was so cute how he was watching
Evey's every move. Like he knew exactly what she was doing.
