Last weekend, Evey and I ventured out to Galveston to visit James's dad's family. It was a wonderful trip. Evey had a great time playing, looking at fish and (her favorite) feeding the sea gulls with GrandBob. We had our first MCAD incident. Thursday night Evey threw up a couple of times...didn't want anything so popcicle seemed to work to keep her blood sugar up. Then Friday she was feeling yucky. Saturday she seemed fine, but Sunday she woke up with blood sugar of 32 (should be 70-100)...not good very scary. She drank straight apple juice and then had her bottle so she ended up being fine. I guess it was pretty mild for her first episode so it was a good learning experience. Apparently, when there body is depleated from being really sick then you need to feed them more often for several days and I didn't know that. She is fine no damage so we are okay. Then to top it off...Tuesday she had teeth break through. I'll get pictures as soon as I can see them good with the camera.

Evey and I went to DC for Memorial weekend to visit James. We had a wonderful time, doing nothing. We stayed at my cousin's place in Old Town Alexandria. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance to their place. We basically just walked for 3 days. Evey loved being in her stroller and people watching...the weather was pleasant. It was perfect. Here are a couple pictures of our trip.

(I love watching her hold her own bottle, I think it is the cutest thing ever)

MCAD: Evey's appointment went well. She is 17.5 lbs now. She is now allowed to sleep 10 hours with out food. She takes her carnatine really well...never a complaint. When she turns 1 year, she will be allowed to go 12 hours at night, but that is the longest she can go even when she is teenager. When she turns 1, we will also have to start monitoring her fat intake...low fat diet for the Price Family.
I am a big girl in my chair holding my bottle.(I love watching her hold her own bottle, I think it is the cutest thing ever)
