Month 10

This month was a big month for us...we had a HUGE garage sale (which did really good), flew out to Midland, TX to visit family, celebrated our first Mother's Day, went to a wedding in Oklahoma, attended swim class every Saturday, and started crawling. I say crawling (see posts below). The main purpose of crawling it to get somewhere in order to stand. She is a very happy, content baby. I couldn't have asked for a better little miracle. Here are some random pictures over the last month.

Talking to grandma or someone...talk talk talk
These days she play quietly in her crib tell she kills over asleep

Aunt Chris gave me a new hair style, like it?
I am a water baby...love baths
Cute suit #1
Cute Cover-up
Cute suit #2...more comfortable than the other one
Here we are at swim class. It is indoors at the Frisco Community Center...very nice new complex. The water is not cold but it is not that warm either. So we start out with a song to get them ready for the water. "This is the way we wash our feet, wash our feet, wash our feet. The is the way we wash our feet early in the morning"
More verses with Legs...Tummies...Arms and Head. She loves it.
Practicing our kicking
Splish...Splash
We try to practice getting out of the water
But we prefer to eat the side of the pool
Practicing going under the water

Here are some videos of swim class...
This is Pop Goes the Weasel...this is a fun one

Practicing going under water...except I am passing her to someone else...didn't bother Evey...just glad to be in the water

Family Photos

Before James left for work, we got some family photos done with Leah Cook of Life's Little Images. Leah was awesome, very affordable and the best part is she gives you the files so you can print as many pictures as you want. Here are some of the pictures.

Crawling Part 2

I got her on video last night crawling and pulling up on the table.

Crawling

It is official. Evey can crawl now. I picked her up from Mary's yesterday and she crawled over to me. Very exciting. Now her version of crawling is a little different...maybe like a 1/2 bear crawl crawl...her left leg is bent sideways and the right leg is extended where she pushes off with her foot. It is very cute. I guess after Grandpa Janisse worked with her this weekend, something clicked yesterday. I put her on the floor to try to get some video last night. She crawled right over to the coffee table, put her hands on the bottom shelf, pulled up a little, then moved her hands to the top of the table and pulled her self right up with no help. What a big girl! Here is a little video.

First Mother's Day

Despite James being gone. I had a wonderful first Mother's Day (weekend), just hanging out with family. Tim and Leanna drove up. Saturday night we all went over to Flay and Brenda's for a wonderful meal and fellowship.Sunday Johnny and Christanne took us to a beautiful Mother's Day brunch at Brookhaven Country Club. Food was great and Evey was wonderful as usual. She tried fresh Blueberries for the first time...yum.
