Austin has been busy this past month. He learned how to crawl. He is loving his new mobility. Evey is adjusting to his interest in her "stuff." He is talking and babbling a lot more and expanding his sounds daily. He has tried tons of new foods this month. Black beans, cinnamon with sweet potatoes, cloves with squash, green beans, strawberries, pasta, so far he likes everything!
Some things I love about this little guy. He still loves to cuddle. I loved that he lays his sweet head on my shoulder a lot. Sometimes when he is nursing, he reaches up and touches my face. I love that he shows he is excited to see you and kicks waves his arms.
Height: 28" 38%

Evey started her new school this week. She did really well adjusting. She is a little hesitant when I drop her off in the morning, but really happy when I pick her up. She says that she likes it. They are supper organized, lots of handouts about what is going on. We get copies of the lesson plans for each week and they will be learning Spanish words with their daily lessons. So far Mommy is very happy with it. We will see if it continues.
Looking Studious

She just started doing this..we haven't even been working with
her on it but she has got it down. Just in time for football season!

We had a relaxed and eventful weekend. We headed to the pool on Friday after school with friends. Last Floaty Friday of the summer. Saturday was the neighborhood cookout and outdoor movie, Willie Wonka (the first one). I don't have any pictures. But it was really fun...food was awesome. James smoked some brisket...it was so yummy even though he doesn't think so.
Sunday, we just hung out with Daddy before he had to leave for a work trip.
Monday, we played out in the cul-de-sac all day.
