Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. Thanks so much Tim, Leanna, Boys and Memaw for coming up to see us. It was wonderful to have guests here. Evey for sure enjoyed the attention.

Christmas Eve, we went to the Christmas service at our church. It was geared mostly for kids. Here is Evey in her Christmas outfit. I was hoping to get her in it with Santa, but that just didn't happen this year.
Austin in his little Christmas jammies.
This was our first real Christmas as parents. The boys got to put together the stuff the night before. Seeing Evey's face when we came down the stairs was awesome. Santa (Tim and Leanna) brought Evey a kitchen. He (James and I) also brought the kids a basketball goal.
This kitchen is fantastic. It has all the bells and whistles. Pots that sound like boiling water, under cabinet lighting, microwave buttons that work. Evey was totally overwhelmed. Couldn't really get her to open her other presents.

She shoots, She scores!!!

This is was the 2nd gift she opened...we wore the new tu-tu all the rest of the day.
Thank you GrandBob and Lexie.

Saturday night we went to dinner at Al Tiramisu in DC, off Dupont Circle. Food was great. Evey was a little on the hyper side which was not making me very happy.

National Christmas Tree outside the White House. I didn't realize you have to walk to get close to the tree...so this picture is taken from the car.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas. We sure did.
